Floating Docks
Changing water levels can be a real issue. A floating dock system can help you conquer this problem. Kehoe custom designs everything from single docks to multi-slip layouts.
Designed with Climate in Mind
Your dock will need to withstand the harsh northern climate and heavy winter ice conditions experienced in Ontario. A kehoe floating dock will drastically reduce the need for winter removal. Kehoe floating structures are designed with continuous steel tube, spiral welded floatation units. Standard wall thickness is 3/16” (which can be increased for extended service life). Our heavy duty steel floatation units give these structures a low centre of gravity for the best stability offered in the industry. These docks can be upgraded with wave attenuation components to help eliminate wave action.
The Kehoe Difference
- Reduced overall spring/fall maintenance costs.
- Optional built in boat lift. Protect your boat from sun and wave damage.
- Optional built in wave attenuation system.
- Premium pressure treated wood decking and skirting. Decking and skirting may also be upgraded to cedar, composite material, or Ipe hardwood.
- Secured with a system of pre-cast concrete anchors and chain. This method is utilized to accommodate changing water levels, with minimal or no adjustments required.
- Docks can have added floatation to compensate for floatation and balance issues caused by ramps and boat lifts. This will help to support and maintain level structures.
